Definitions
Company shall mean Wayfinder Systems AB, a company established under Swedish laws, or any other company in Wayfinder Group.
Customer shall mean a person or legal entity using the Service.
Service shall mean the services available on the Web Site including but not limited to the texts, maps, photographs and route information on the Web Site.
Third Party Services shall mean any third party service, application, location data and other information or data provided on the Web Site.
Web Site shall mean the web site on which the Service is hosted from time to time.

Use of ActiveOutdoor Service
2.1 Subject to following these Rules and the guidelines given at any time by any Company representative the Customer may use the Service by uploading and downloading text, photographs and videos regarding their outdoor activities on the Web Site and browse the Web Site. The Customer may not a) disassemble, decompile or modify the Service, b) make changes in the Service structure, c) create any software based on the Service or any portions thereof or d) use the Services for other purposes or in a manner that would result in significant inconvenience to the Company or any third party.
2.2 The Customer may use the Third Party Services in connection with the Services as specified in the terms and conditions of the providers such Third Party Services.
2.3 The Customer may use the Service for personal use only and not for transfer, distribution, or disclosure to third parties or use for the benefit of third parties. The Customer needs to obtain the Company's prior written permission, which Customer can do by contacting support@wayfinder.com, if the Customer wants to sell any information, services, or software associated with or derived from the Service.
2.4 In addition to what has been stated above, the following actions are explicitly prohibited for the Customer:
1) operation of a service bureau or any other use involving the processing of data of or for other persons or entities;
2) assignment, time-sharing, lend or lease, or rental of the Service;
3) deriving or attempting to derive the structure of the Service;
4) use, duplication, reproduction, disclosure, publication, distribution or transfer of the Service other than as specifically allowed;
5) removal or obscuring of any copyright, trademark notice, or restrictive legend;
6) modification or creation of derivative works of the Service;
7) use of the Service to provide competitive information about the Services to third parties or
8) creation of a derivative product or services that competes with the Service.

Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 The exclusive right, title and interest in and to the intellectual property rights in and to the Service and the Third Party Services, including any backup copy, any and all modifications, new releases, and versions as well as all other derivatives thereof shall belong exclusively to the Company and its licensors.

Customer Input on the Web Site and Web Links
4.1 The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Customer shall not place on the Web Site any information, data or materials, including but not limited to characters, text, photos or videos, that violate any applicable laws or good manners including but not limited to information, data or materials that could be understood as profanities, threats or libelous comments. The Company may delete any information, data or materials placed by the Customer on the Web Site.
4.2 The Customer acknowledges that any Customer input is in the public domain save for the registration information of the Customer
4.3 Particularly, the Customer shall not place any copyrighted information, data or materials on the Web Site unless the Customer has the express permission of the author to utilize the copyrighted information, data or materials. If the Customer places any copyrighted information, data or materials, the Customer shall provide the Company the specific permission granted for its publication and use.
4.4 Any information, data and materials provided by the Customer to the Web Site, including but not limited to any route information and any photographs, shall be deemed to be non-confidential. Save for that the Customer may acknowledge himself/herself as the author, the Company shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information, data or materials and shall be free to publicize, reproduce, use, disclose, transfer and distribute the information, data and materials to others without any limitations. Additionally, the Company shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such information data and materials for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing, and marketing products and services incorporating such information. The Company routinely uses the information, data and materials for its own marketing, promotional and membership activities. The Company may also share the information, data and materials with its corporate partners and with interested third parties, who may use the information for their own sales, marketing and promotional activities, and who may have privacy policies that differ from the Company's.
4.5 The Web Site may contain links to third party web sites and such links are not under the control of the Company. Accordingly, the Company accepts no liability whatsoever nor makes any representations whatsoever concerning the content of those third party web sites. The Company provides these links only as a convenience to the Customer. The Company has not tested any information, software, or products found on these sites and therefore cannot make any representations whatsoever with respect thereto.

Errors in Service
5.1 The Customer acknowledges that there may be errors or defects in the Service. The Service is provided "as is." The Customer further acknowledges and understands that the Service, maps, point-of-interest information, directing information and any other information and data provided by third parties on which the Service is based and the Third Party Services may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated or defective, and that the Company accepts no responsibility for such errors or deficiencies. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company agrees to use commercially reasonable efforts at its own cost to as soon as possible correct the errors and defects that make it impossible to use the Service, however excluding any Third Party Services.

Liability and Limitations
6.1 Any information provided through or by the Service is a recommendation only and may not be considered by the Customer as instructions. If a recommendation supplied through or by the Service deviates from for example local traffic regulations or other local conditions or customs, the Customer must always act in accordance, and take into consideration, such local laws, regulations, conditions and customs. The Customer makes use of the Service at the Customer's own risk, and it is always the Customer's responsibility and duty to act in a manner that will not breach any applicable law or jeopardize the traffic safety of the Customer or any third party. The Company disclaims any liability for any damage or injury that the Customer could have avoided or mitigated by being careful, with specific consideration to the information regarding the Service and the nature and specifics of the Service.
6.2 The Customer shall be entitled to compensation for direct damage caused by a willful act or gross negligence of the Company or any party for which the Company is responsible. The term "direct damage" shall mean reasonable and verified damages that the Customer has suffered:
a) without any fault of his own and/or
b) without incompliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
6.3 The customer acknowledges and agrees that the service and the third party services are provided "as is". The customer also acknowledges and agrees that the service contains third partry software and data as well as third party services that may be used with the service, for which the company is not liable for any part. The company makes no representations or warranties with respect to the service, third party services and data included in the service with respect to their correctness, availability, reliability, or otherwise. The customer expressly assumes the entire risk and liability.
6.4 This limitation applies to all causes of action or claims in the aggregate, including, without limitation, breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, misrepresentation and other torts.
6.5 The company disclaims and liabilty for any indirect, consequental, special or incidental damages. The term indirect damage shall mean, without limitation, damages such as loss of data, lost profits, lost revenues, decreased business production or sales, obstacles in fulfilling obligations to a third party, or the failure to derive benefit from the agreement.
6.6 The company and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents and partners expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied or statutory, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for high risk activities (as defined in section 7 below) or firness for any other particular purpose, title or non-infringment of third party intellectual property rights in connection with the service and the third party provided hereunder, all of wich are provided "as is", with all faults and defects, and any such warranties are hereby disclaimed, whether arising out of custom, trade usage, prior dealing ot otherwise. Neither the company nor its licensors warrant, and specifically disclaim, the correctness, accuracy, reliability, un interruptness or otherwise the use, availability or compability of the services(including but not limited to the third party services).

Force Majeure and High Risk Activities
7.1 The Company shall not need to honor any of its obligations under these Rules in the event the delay, inability to use or damage is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the Company which could not reasonably have been prevented or overcome, such as errors or delays in telephone communications network, errors or delays in satellite communications network, errors or delays in any other communications networks such as LAN or WLAN, damage inflicted on the Customer by a third party, labor conflict (regardless of whether or not it involved the Company's staff), accidents, lightning, fires, explosions, war, riots, flooding, severe weather, natural disasters or the act or omission of any governmental authority or other entity or person for whom the Company is not responsible.
7.2 The Service is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use and shall not be used in any purpose requiring fail-safe performance.

Termination of Service
8.1 The Company may at any time discontinue providing the Service and disable the Customer’s access to the Service without prior written notice. In such case the Customer shall not be entitled to any compensation.

9.1 The editor for the web site can be reached through support@wayfinder.com.

Amendment of these Rules
10.1 The Company shall be entitled to amend these Rules. The amendment may become effective immediately once the amended Rules are posted on the Web Site.
